Bar & Beverage Services

#1. Cash Bar

Guest-Paid Beverage Service

A cash bar allows guests to purchase beverages individually throughout the event. Blooming Barrel Event Center will provide all alcoholic beverages, licensed bartenders, bar setup, and professional service in accordance with state and local regulations.

This option is ideal for Clients who prefer not to host beverage costs while still offering a fully staffed and professionally managed bar experience for their guests.
 

Pricing & Fees:
  • Cash Bar Service Charge: $250  
    For events utilizing a cash bar, a flat bar service fee applies. This fee covers bar setup, drinkware, ice, alcohol liability insurance, bar supplies, administrative service, and post-event cleanup.

  • Bartender staffing fee: $300
    (Two bartenders at $150 each)

  • Applicable sales tax will be added where required
     

 

#2. Hosted Consumption Bar

Client-Funded Bar with Spending Cap

A hosted consumption bar allows the Client to pre-pay beverages for guests up to a pre-determined dollar amount selected in advance. Beverage selections will be determined prior to the event.

Once the hosted amount is reached, the bar will automatically transition to a cash bar for the remainder of the event. Blooming Barrel Event Center staff will monitor the tab and manage the transition to ensure a smooth and professional guest experience.

Pricing & Fees:
  • Client selects a hosted bar amount in advance, which items are included, and limitations (i.e. tap beer and rails only, no shots, etc. - We will help you decide what’s best for your event.)

  • Beverage charges will be applied against the hosted amount

  • A 15% Bar Service Charge will be added to hosted beverage totals.

  • Applicable sales tax will be added

  • Bartender staffing fee: $300 total
    (Two bartenders at $150 each)
     

 

Water Station
  • Water station with plastic cups is provided free of charge.

  • Champagne Toast: $3 per guest

  • Coffee Station: $99 
     

 

“Getting Ready” Packages

  • Bloody Mary Bar: $125

    • One bottle Vodka

    • 4 Bottles of Bloody Mary Mix

    • Garnishes & Ingredients: Pickles, Olives, Seasonings, Beef Sticks, etc.
       

  • Mimosa Bar: $125 

    • 4 Bottles of Champagne

    • Orange, Pineapple and Cranberry Fruit Juices

    • Fresh Fruit Garnishes

    • Plastic champagne flutes
       

  • Beer / Seltzer by the Case:

    • Domestic Cans 24 pack: $42

    • White Claws / Seltzer 24 pack: $62
       

  • Coffee Station: $35

    • Coffee, Creamer, Sweeteners, Cups
       

 

Important Beverage Policies

  • All alcoholic beverages must be purchased and served exclusively by Blooming Barrel Event Center.

  • Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited and illegal. If it is found that outside alcohol is brought on the property, a fee of $500 will be deducted from the security deposit.

  • Blooming Barrel Event Center reserves the right to limit or refuse service in accordance with responsible alcohol service laws and venue policies.

  • Per the Venue Agreement, any events with alcohol served require security. The cost of security is $250 from 8pm - Midnight. This amount will be added to your invoice.

Beverage FAQ

 

Q: Can we bring our own alcohol?
A: No. Due to licensing requirements and liability regulations, outside alcohol is not permitted to be brought onto or consumed on the property. All alcoholic beverages served or consumed at Blooming Barrel Event Center must be provided and served by BBEC.
 

 

Q: Do you have any minimum bar spend requirements?
A: No. Blooming Barrel Event Center does not require a minimum bar spend for beverage service.

Q: What is the beverage service charge and the ?
A: The Beverage Service Charge and Cash Bar Service Fee is not a gratuity. It covers the operational and administrative costs associated with beverage service, including bar tools and maintenance, alcohol liability insurance, ice, cups, stir sticks, napkins, garnishes, cleaning supplies, and administrative support.
 

 

Q: What if we want a “dry wedding”?
A: We are happy to accommodate dry weddings and can provide non-alcoholic beverage service for your event. Bartender staffing fees, applicable service charges, and gratuity policies will still apply.
 

 

Q: How is gratuity handled?
A: Bartenders will have a tip jar available during beverage service. For any hosted bar amount, an 18% bartender gratuity will be added to your beverage invoice. If you prefer that a tip jar not be present, an 18% gratuity fee will automatically be applied to your invoice.
 

 

Q: How many bartenders will be provided?
A: Two (2) licensed bartenders will be scheduled for beverage service. Additional bartenders may be recommended or required based on guest count and event needs.
 

 

Q: Do you offer full-keg purchases?
A: No. We do not offer full-keg purchases; however, we do offer tap beer options that may be included as part of your cash bar or hosted consumption bar.
 

 

Q: When does beverage service begin and end?
A: Beverage service typically begins immediately following the ceremony or at the direction of the Client. Service times will align with venue policies and event timelines.
 

 

Q: Can we limit what drinks are served?
A: Yes. If you prefer, beverage offerings may be limited. However, we believe the best guest experience is achieved by offering our full selection of beer, wine, and spirits.
 

 

Q: What happens when our hosted bar amount is reached?
A: BBEC staff will notify the designated person in charge as the hosted amount is nearing its limit. Once the hosted amount is reached, the bar will automatically transition to a cash bar for the remainder of the event.
 

 

Q: Do you offer non-alcoholic specialty drinks or mocktails?
A: Yes. Please view our current drink menu options for available non-alcoholic beverages and mocktails. Selections are subject to change without notice.
 

 

Q: Can we choose the beer, wine, or liquor selections?
A: BBEC typically offers a full bar experience. Beverage selections are limited to items we regularly carry and have in stock at the time of your event.
